2023
Anniversary
In 2023, our company celebrated its 20th anniversary.

Using Welding Robots
We responded to the shortage of skilled workers in the welding industry with state-of-the-art technological solutions to successfully fulfil our customers’ orders.

UL-Conformity for Control Cabinets
In 2023, our stainless-steel control cabinets  were listed in accordance with UL50 / 50E – crucial guidelines for the pharmaceutical industry in particular.

50th Centrifuge
Our successful product, the centrifugal sorter, was completed successfully for the 50th time since 2013.

2022
New Parking Lot
Completing the new parking lot, including charging stations for electric vehicles.

2020
CNC Milling Machine
In June, we expanded our production capacities by adding another CNC milling machine

2019
Launching linear sorting
The new system includes set-up, high scalability, and a variety of different formats.

Extending our Facilities
In 2019, our facilities were extended to increase production capacity and office space. This included constructing a production facility for sheet metal with a laser processing center and a bending machine. The production area was thus expanded to over 5000 square meters; an electrochemical surface treatment facility was added. The grant for Machine Investment, Installations and Equipment ("Maschineninvestitionen, Einbauten und Ausstattung") supported our project.

Our efforts to introduce corrosion-resistant systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes were supported by the Program for Rural Development (ELR, Entwicklung Ländlicher Raum) and the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020.

2016
Successful recertification According to ISO 9001:2015
In July 2016, we passed the certification audit as part of our conversion to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.

Introduction of Centrifugal Sorters
Development of our first centrifugal sorter. This product group ensures high feed rates for plastic objects.

 

2011 
Inauguration of 225 kWp Photovoltaic System
Installation and inauguration of our photovoltaic system.

2008-2009 
Extending our Facilities
Due to our growth and the resulting increase in space requirements, the capacities of production, assembly and administration nearly doubled to further healthy expansion.

2007
Founding member of Packaging Valley
We are one of 15 founding members of Packaging Valley Germany e. V.

Re-audit
Recertification according to ISO 9001:2000.

2006
Award for medium-sized companies
Successful participation in “Arbeiten wie die Besten” (“Working like the best”) and winning “Mittelstandsförderpreis 2006” (2006 SME Promotion Prize)

Customizes Machines
Developing a custom machine for West Pharmaceutical Services in Stollberg: assembly machine SMA-1000-1 with a processing speed of 1000 closures per minute.

Award
Successful participation in projects promoting the use of innovative IT technologies and services. E+K Sortiersysteme was awarded “Mittelstandsförderpreis 2004” (2004 SME Promotion Prize).
